The trends in the corporate IP telephony development are obvious today. Nowadays three most widespread services are the conventional voice communication, mobile (cellular) voice communication and broadband Internet access requiring from the carrier the construction of a single network, single IP infrastructure able to support these services. The corporate IP telephony is changing to corporate IP communications. It can be seen quite distinctly by the example of the strategy of all manufacturers and developers. Creation of integrated environment of universal data communications, first of all, for business customers, is a difficult multilevel task. Voice, video, e-mail, joint work on documents, circulation of documents, training, sales, maintenance, remote access, mobile office are the realities of the today"s business environment.
The necessary traffic management is provided by softswitches making it possible to comply with all the requirements to conventional telephone nodes concerning the support of telephone signalling and protocols as well as the COPM requirements support and the services set based on the IP protocols.
